ive been wondering how long it would be before someone took the valve caps (nice chrome ones, i really liked them) off my is250, just went to the car and they are all gone.

question can you by valve caps that need a key or something to remove ? similar to lock nuts in wheels?

    i hate scum

Why not just get the black plastic ones? They are only valve caps, after all...;)

Yes you can but they'll still manage to nick them. Just admit defeat and put black plastic ones on.

ah sure i know they are only valve caps, but its the principle of the thing, i should be able to have somthing small like that on my car and not worry about some fecker stroking them. they came with the car so i doubt i would normally go out and buy em, also i suspect if i call the garage they will probably want stupid money for new ones.

In principle, you're dead right. In practise, this is God's way of telling you your priorities are a little off.;)

They'll steal anything the little feckers. Mate has had loads of valve key dust caps knicked of his bike and some bollox stole 7 years old hud caps off my car.

Only way to keep the shiny ones would be to tighten them on with a pliers and make sure to keep pliers in the car.
