The moustache - 70's porn star or the height of sophistication?

One of the great things about being a man is that we get to choose if we want hair on our upper lip. If only the same could be said about our arse.

But I digress.

Apparently, the moustache (moustache? mustache? I dunno) is making a comeback. Personally, I detest them. When I see a moustached man, all I can think of is a sleazy 70's porn star, and look out for the hairy chest and gold medallions.

So, I put it to the Brethren and the wimmins - what is the verdict on moustaches? Yay or nay?

Tash on it's own is very difficult to get away with. Only Tom Selleck (?) Freddie Mercury and my dad can do it successfully.

As part of a beard ensemble - it can be very nice.

I can't actually see the point of moustaches,seeing as you still have to shave the rest of your face every day, so it's not like they save you any real effort. Besides, they look stupid.
