What's happening in Killarney, Tralee and Galway this weekend?

    My boyfriend and I have decided that after the LONG BROKE month since we got paid early for Christmas and blew the lot by 1st Jan, we'd celebrate getting paid by.....you guessed it-blowing money on a romantic night/weekend away!

    We're trying to decide whether to go to Killarney/Tralee area, or to go to Galway. Does anyone know if there's anything happening in either area this weekend? There's not much on entertainment.ie or ticketmaster. I'm 27, he's 31, we're not particularly looking for DJing type stuff though no doubt we'll wind up in bits in some club or other by the end of the night. We're looking for something fun to do, maybe good comedy or a really good gig, horses, hounds whatever you lot recommend! We want to book something today or tomorrow, but we don't want to end up with nothing to do.

    Also, any recommendations on a really nice hotel? We've decided to go posh! Something with a full set of bells and whistles!

    hi did you book anything yet . the killarney heights is lovely hotel used to work there after i left school. lots of good barss to go to in killarney or tralee. dont know of any gis on but the tours are great to go on and lots of day tours to go on. recomend if weather is good r bot ride on the 3 lakes of killarney. well worth it. only 10 a head. well hope you enjoy your trip down south
