    Hi,

I just crashed my car today. I was wondering if you could advise me what to do? Would it be possible to get panel beating or would I have to replace the bonnet? How much would a bonnet be?

Really appreciate any help at all...

    Many Thanks,

    Danielle

Pics not working. In General yes you will have to replace bonnets. You havent stated how much damage or type of car. But with front end its usually replaced. need more info.

Depends on the amount of damage really. Most crash repair places will be happy to give you an estimate if you can bring the car to them.

What is the car make, model, year etc.

How much damages was done. If it is light enough then it should be straight forward enough to put back on the road. Replacement parts can be bought from a scrap dealer for a fraction of the cost of new ones. Then you will onyl need a respray. there are plenty of panel beaters out there that will do the work.

It depends on the extent of the damage.

OMG:eek: How old was that kid???

You can have it repaired for €100-€200 I'd say, if you're not fussy and the car isn't newish. It won't look brilliant though. If it is bad enough to need a new bonnet, it will add about €150+ to the bill if it's a modest enough car.

Please name all affected parts- bumper/ lamps etc.

EDIT: Tigra. Repair bonnet, Lamps off ebay for €60 bumper is probably ok.

Go get your headlamp and indicator replacements ASAP and you will still be able to drive around in it until the dents are repaired. They will be easy to refit. Anyone with that's handy with a screw driver should be able to do it.

Headlight, indicator, bonnet. And in the worst case scenario throw in lock and hinges as well. Go for non-branded parts and there should be a good bit of change out of 500 euro.
