1050 for 2 bed 2 bath apt in New Ballymun!
Soon to be 600 as I'm finally getting someone in for the spare room with own big bathroom.
Great apt, good build, actual NO noise/disturbance from anyone, *hugely* mismanaged building, actually okay area believe it or not.
No commute to work, v close to town, west of city and north county/Meath/Louth.

Myself and my fiancé pay €550 each or €1100 per calendar month for a huge 1 bed apartment in Ranelagh/Rathmines, we're about a 5 min walk from the Beechwood Luas stop.

Our rent went up by €60 in November about a 5% increase.

I pay 600 p/m for a room in a two bed apartment (total apartment rent is 1400) that I share with two other friends in Ballsbridge. I long for the 4 bedrooms and acre of land …….. all for just an extra €100 If I upped and moved out of the city!

    I'm paying €495 for a small/medium double in Dublin 3. 1 bathroom between 4 people.
Don't have a dishwasher.. have a washer and dryer though and it's close enough to city centre.

In comparison to 2 years ago in Cork, I paid €275 for a huge double ensuite, secure parking, massive house!!

I'm hoping to move though in the next few months when the rent should be cheaper for the summer and there will be less demand. I looked in November but there were queues of 20+ people outside house-shares so hopefully it will be less manic now.

Are you saying two people in a 3-bed house? You'd save quite a bit if you even added one person.

Interesting to see what people are paying.

I'm moving back to Dublin soon and I've had enough of sharing. Unfortunately I think that is going to mean forking out about 1300-1400 for a 1 bed apartment.

I pay 750 for a wonderful, albeit small, double bed flat in a georgian terracced house. It's 23sqm but it has all I need and the landlady is just the best.
15 walking distance to top of Grafton Street, on the Southside.
