Does a 2005 Nissan Almera have a pollen filter and if it does, where is it and how easy is it to change?

    Thanks

It's behind the glovebox, the glovebox clicks out (I think you bend in the sides of the inside of the glovebox)and it opens out and down to the floor, filter is behind a clip-off panel, and is fairly obvious. symptoms of a blocked pollen filter are condensation on windows and poor airflow through vents even with the fan on full.

Afaik it does. Mine does, but it has air-con as opposed to climate control. Haynes manual is available for the n16 p2 which might be worth a look, especially if you fancy some diy!

all facelift (03 on twin headlight models) have digital automatic heating system, a bit like climate control, but without the air conditioning. you can set it to a temperature (provided you don't want it too cold!)

    Thanks for the replies.

I've just looked, and I found the pollen filter "hole", but there doesn't seem to be a filter in there. I removed the glovebox and the panel behind and there's an empty space above the blower fan.

I assume that there is no pollen filter fitted in the car!

True! However, some 'lucky' models got air-con and a different headlight cluster! Plus some extra bhp out of the engine! ;)
