Irish Broadband Issues?

    I know there was a recent thread where someone had problems getting kicked off PPP with NTL but has anyone had any issues with Irish Broadband? I just got it into my place and was hoping to log some decent hours but i keep getting disconnected from any sites ive tried. I have logged into betfair, ladbrokes, vc and even boyles (i was desperate!!) but just get disconnected from the sites after 1 or 2 hands at most. My general internet connection has been fine and my signal stength has never been worse than 10 mbps. it may well be my laptop thats not up to scratch but i was wondering if anyone else has had this issue with Irish Boradband before i look into a new computer. Thanks

    I had Irish Broadband. The only site that I didn't have problems with is PokerStars. Everything else was terrible. I got rid of it, it's so bad.

    I have Stars, full tilt and GJP on mine and they all work fine, there were others working ok as well, but have since removed them. The only program I have had a problem with is Party.

    I have it (RTE mast) and can't play on iPoker with it. Haven't tried other sites much. Got imagine broadband base package for €10/mth and haven't had a disconnect yet.

    I used to have broadband in a box and it was very slow, I used to get disconnected sometimes or else there'd be really bad lag.

    Also downloading CardRunner videos was a nightmare, I'd have to leave it on overnight sometimes.

    Anyway I recently upgraded to their fixed wireless breeze 2mb package which is way, way better. No problems with any sites and CR vids take very little time to download now.
