I have booked flights Dublin to London Gatwick for 3 people, all one booking, Myself,my wife and a friend. Me and my wife have decided to stay an extra day, thus booking another flight for a later return journey, whereas my friend is going home on the original booking. We are booked for online check-in. My question is will my friend have a problem checking in online for the return flight as he is the only one of the three originally booked who will be making that flight. I dont think so but I would just like someone to confirm that for me. No shows are common in the airline industry and I presume Ryanair havent invented an extra charge for this?

Should be ok but I'm sure it's on their site somewhere. Nobody here can "confirm" anything tbh.

Not on their site and ringing them would take about a week to get thru.

This kind of answers it. At least I know if I cant check in my friend online it means he can still do it at the airport for a small fee anyway.

    From Ryanair site

Any passenger failing to present their printed online boarding pass at airport security or at the departure gate will be required to check-in again at the airport desk and will be charged an airport check-in fee of £2/€3 per person (or local currency equivalent). This facility is available only if the applicable airport check-in desk is still open

Your friend will be able to check in alone, either online or in person.

When checking in online you are presented with the option to select which passenger(s) is/are checking in. Your friend will be able to select himself and off he goes.

Thanks. Kinda thought that but you can never be sure with Ryanair.

    No worries, OP.

You can be fairly sure with Ryanair, or at least as sure as you can be with any airline!

Their website is tough to navigate unless you're looking to give them money, but the information is there.

Yeah you'll have to pay a separate check in fee, i despise this airline
