    Mobisode 12 - The Envelope

    The mobisodes have been accused of being deleted scenes despite being newly filmed. Well this one is unique in that it actually IS a deleted scene, from the opening sequence of the season 3 premiere. I'm assuming this is because they ran out of new mobisodes due to the writers strike.

    The contents of the envelope are of course Ben's x-rays. However the scene also contains hints of a romantic history/potential between Ben and Juliet. There was a lot to suggest this early in season 3, however it seemed the idea had been abandoned by the second half of the season (the writers perhaps felt one love triangle was enough). So it's presence in this mobisode is a bit of a mystery. The writers/show-runners aren't currently involved with the show so they may not have okayed this mobisode as they did the others.

    Anyway there's only one more these "Missing Pieces" left... thank god! :D Roll on January 31st!

    How could they be Ben's X-Rays? Wasn't Jack the one who diagnosed the tumour? If this scene was meant to be for the opening episode of season 3 than why would his X-Rays be such a big deal, if Juliet didn't know Ben had a tumour.

    What else could it be?....

    No, Juliet knew about the tumour, she took the x-rays and diagnosed it. She told Ben about it a day before Flight 815 crashed. This was all in her flashback in One Of Us. Jack saw the x-rays later and guessed that they were Ben's.

    Ohhh! I see..it's been a while. I should really get the boxsets of season 2 and 3. You forget a lot when it hasn't been shown in ages.
