Basically ill make this short. Ive known for years that the person who raised me isn't my natural father. I plucked up the courage a while back to ask my Aunt(who im very close to) to ask if she knew who my real father was as i had never been told.
She gave me his name, address, phone number and said she'd be there for me no matter what i do.

Should i contact him, i know he is married with 2 other kids now and only lives about 40 minutes out the road.

Im 24 now, dont see how it will make too much of a difference.

If you feel you must get this out of your system and at least give it a go, then do so.
Try to get in contact confidentially.
Also, expect nothing from the encounter, that way you cannot be disappointed.
    Best of luck.

I have been in your situation. I sent a letter to my "father" stupidly telling him a lot about myself, and being very naive in expecting a response. I got no response whatsoever.

Don't expect anything. And if he has two kids and a wife, they may not be too happy at all. You have a right to know where you came from, but expect nothing. He will never be your "father".

But contact him if you feel you must. Let us know how you get on, as I would be interested in your experience.
