SE K800i Problem - Answers in my pocket ?

    Hi All,

Was looking for some advice - My SE K800i keeps on answering in my pocket. Not because its set to "any key answer" and not because I'm accidentally hitting the answer button each time. People are randomly treated to my private conversations and when I do get a normal call back the earlier call doesn't even appear in my call log. Its like I'm carrying around a bug FFS  - Also sometimes the speakerphone kicks in and the room gets to hear people shouting at me from my pocket.......

    - I suspect it may be since I hooked it up to my Garmin 670 Sat Nav via Bluetooth ? The problems seemed to start soon after......

Anyway the point of posting was that hopefully someone has experienced similar and knows a cure - perhaps a master reset or flashing the firmware etc. Don't want to replace the phone and get another crappy refurbished K800i as this one is a brand new unmarked phone etc.

    Thanks,

    Paul

With O2s swap out service you will.

OP, there's not a lot more you can do. Try the reset all on the phone and the software update on the Sony Ericsson website.

If not bring it back to the shop you bought it from.

Thanks for the replies folks - seems better since a master reset ;)

    - Hope that's the end of it.
