I was wondering here if anyone could give me any information. I am stuck in the house pretty much every day due to family circumstances and having to be carer for my dad. The only time i really get away during the day is two hours each morning for the gym. I would like to do an online course in health and fitness. Can anyone recomment any. The only one i can find is the Sport Consultant with ITEC. Does anyone know if this is worth doing or if anyone could recommend another?

    Hi OP,

    Here is one http://www.premierglobal.co.uk/

Did you type 'online personal training' into www.google.ie?

There is also a course (not online) with www.ntc.ie, which you could possibly attend in the evenings and on Saturdays. You would just need a few hours in the evening plus most of Saturday, if you could find someone else to look after your dad.

    Good luck.

Unfortunately not possible for me to do one outside the house for a course at the moment as he needs 24 hour care.

I shall look at that other course, thank you very much

Anyone any feedback on ITEC courses?

Anyone any feedback on ITEC courses?

I assume you're talking about THIS ITEC and not the International Therapy Examinations Council one? Don't know much about the 'Irish' ITEC I've looked into a couple of their courses to supplement my full time studies in the past but the accreditation doesn't fill me with confidence. You should have a look at Kilroys College who are quite well known. IF it's purely out of interest and not something you'd like to seek a career in the decision between Kilroys and ITEC is purely your own.

    Edit: Hope this helps.
I've done fitness courses with ITEC(the international therapy examinations council one) if you've questions about them I'd be happy to help.
