Soundproof underlay for Tiled Floor

Hey all... Have just bought a new 1st floor apartment. Am going to tile bathrooms and kitchen and have been told that I have to lay a soundproof membrane below the tiles. I've had a dig around on the net and can't find anythin obvious. Anyone know where I might source such a thing???
