most routers have a resetbutton on the back that you can use to reset the password back to its default. The are ways to get the password but you could be trying to access someone elses router so i doubt you will get much more help here than that.

You mean the WEP password? Or the login for the router admin?

visit your routers admin page, then the wireless link will give you the pass key.

ie on eircom routers your address is
    http://192.168.1.254/

Yeah. Use a LAN cable to access the router homepage if wireless won't let you on.

i can go on line on my laptop just fine so the password is in the computer somewher, and on my Wii set them up the same day just can't remember the password. I'm not too good on the tech stuff, looked at router home page just found info on resetting so will just do that. just thought there would be an easier way. its the password the computer needed to link with router the first time i used it.
