Won auction on german eBay - how to pay?

    It's only after the auction ended that I realised the seller doesn't take PayPal :rolleyes: He's given me his bank details:

    Here are my facts:
    Dietmar Schmöe
    Volksbank Schaumburg eG
    Konto.-Nr 643881400
    BLZ 25591413

    What do I need to do to pay? Thanks

    Goto your bank and wire trasnfer him the money. One of those codes is probably his bank number and the other the banks sort code. Should be easy enough but bit more hassle than using paypal.

    u dont have enough info there .. i did this a few times wit boi

    u need his iban and bic code

    the name of his bank and the address

    his full name and address

    I would ask if you can pay via paypal. I have simply offered to pay the 4% fees extra. In the long run it saves time and bank charges etc, and can often end up cheaper, the time and hassle with other payment places can be a lot of trouble

    It depends. With AIB, I can do international transfers for free online. It takes a couple of days for the money to get there but at least I can avoid having to deal with paypal.
