When I turn on my ps3 my controller automatically assigns itself to number 2. So I try the 2nd one and that goes to 3.

I dont kno whow long its been doing it but only noticed wen I go MOH and it wouldnt respond. Even when I reassign it to number 1 it wont work in the game. How do i get it to be 1 from boot up?

Reset both controllers to the PS3 by using a pin or pen to press in a tiny reset button on underside of controller beside L2 trigger.
You will then have to connect them using USB cable to register them with your PS3.

Or as unlikely as this may be, is there anything that might be interfering with the signal?

    Could be the bluetooth remote.

    +1

Yeah you have to unplug the dongle thing anytime you're not playing GH3.

yeah as someone said it could be the bluetooth remote it gets assigned a slot when you first connect it. probably nothing to worry about in any case

My bluetooth remote was assigned to slot 9 when connected, which I thought kind of made sense and figured all remotes on all consoles would be assigned the same slot, not take up the 1st one?
