Well it is a facelift and not a new model. .. and as far a facelifts come this, imo, is very drastic compared to other cars' facelifts.

As a big fan of the car, I think theyve done a horrible job and infact it looks like a lot tackier and less modern.

The plastic bit in the front grill is horrible and the front 2 air ducts seem to have been swiped staright from a Prosche!!

We'll prob never see it as come July I would say the RX-8 will be no more in this country.

i would have to see it in real life but I think its starting to look like a 4 door saloon is it not rather than the quazi coupe it used to be.

always liked these though - good fun to drive

Facelifts of cars are often a blink and you've missed it type of affair. This is a good thing because it helps to protect the resale values of the pre facelift cars. Though as JHMEG says it's unlike many if any will be sold after July, owing to the fact that the CO2 is high enough for 36% VRT and €2,000 tax a year:eek:!

Seen photos of it from the Detroit Show and my first impression is that they have ruined it.

They should have left the face alone, all that really needed a nip/tuck was the interior.
