Anyone reccomend a Sth Side/DL Gym?

    Hi all,

    I am a casual gym member. Due to a work relocation I will have leave my own gym, looking to join a gym that I can have a work out / and or swim in the morning and still make it to work in Dun Laoraigh for 8.30 / 9 am (week days). .

    Im not looking for a hard-core iron pumping gym ! just a modern place I can run on a tread mill while watching tv,,, and do a half hour swim each morning, occasionally doing some basic weights or spin classes.

    I am going to pay monthly,, and if the likes of towels etc, are included i'd pay up to 70 'ish' pm.

    any suggestions would be much appriciated.

    There's really only one in DL - Crunch Fitness. I really like it tbh. I go 5ish times a week. No towels included lol. There aresome previous threads i think so have a search maybe. I think there is one in Monkstown as well now which is a bit cheaper.

    Yea I've read about it. . . . looks like it opens at 6.45 ??? that seems a little late but hey!

    I might get a tour of it, any idea how much I should be paying,,,, I know It'll probably be on the higher end of the market... but i don't want to be ripped off???

    Cheers Thanks for that.

    I viewed crunch & the one in the royal marine hotel.

    crunch was 64 pm + 50 joining fee (corporate rate) & includes entry to their other clubs (city centre & tallaght etc)

    and the rotal marine hotel gym (/room in the basement)

    Was 110 pm + 350 joining fee! (not charged if paid up front)

    No prizes for guessing the one i joined!
