I just got o2 broadband and I noticed something really strange. For some reason over the last couple of days, I can not go on facebook or rapidshare. I get emails from facebook saying ive got a message from a friend so im guessing everything is ok on their end. Every other site works perfect except for them. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm having the same problem with 02 Broadband... Facebook.com comes up as "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Friends in Dublin with other network providers seem to be fine. I also tried the fix below (from the rapidshare thread) which was not successful. I have been having this problem for 24 hrs now... hopefully the servers will 'fix themselves' as with the rapidshare problem.

Download this file and put it in the folder above. (I saved the original just incase)

    Close your browser
    Start run 'ipconfig /flushdns'
    And run the browser again.

yeah I've had this problem myself over the past few days. I don't see how the rapidshare issue applies unless Facebook has a server problem too.

There is a thread "O2 Broadband awful at peak times" in this forum, seems O2 are going down the same road as 3, with more people signing up the service just gets worse.
