Connecting laptop to HDTV

    Hey guys.

I have a sony VAIO VGN-FE11M laptop, bought a couple of years ago. I believe it has a VGA output since I use it to connect it to my BenQ moniter. Now I've just bought a 42" M86 full HD Samsung TV (to be delivered soon), am I correct in assuming I can use my VGA cable to connect the laptop to the screen?

    Do I need something else?

It has a Geforce Go 7400 graphics card. Since it's a laptop, I do not think there is a DVI output built in, though I have no clue what that should look like.

    Would appreciate any tips/advice thanks!
