I've just been looking through the pictures I took on my trip to Australia. I really like these two photos and was wondering what all of you thought of them. :)

Looks like a waterfall of spaghetti or some kind of pasta. :) They are both well composed, nice.

Top one looks like Barron Gorge? Nr Cairns? I have never actually seen it like that although last time I was there it was close to the end of the rainy season...if it is, did you take it from the railway platform? I like it but I'd have gone landscape on it. That's a personal preference though and this is better than what I brought from there because I had unfamiliarity issues with the brand new camera then.

Anyway I like it a lot.

Second picture is stunning. Well done.

    You're a mind reader. :)

That is indeed Barron Gorge. I was up in Cairns for a couple days. Was only there last month, it was the middle of the rainy season and they just had the wettest day in two years. We were told that the waterfall would look pretty spectacular.

The railway platform was the best place to get a picture of the waterfall. Certainly was a lot of water flowing in the river that day. I found the sound of the water was the most amazing though. :)
