No 3DMark 06 score

Have ran 3dmark06 a few times on laptop/pc at home and each time it's ran I've gotten a blank score back..not connected to the net so can't upload the result to see if there is a score.
Have intalled the C+ distrib files and reinstalled 3dmark to no joy. Also installed the patches.
Over the year I've reinstalled my OS as I regularly do and each time reran 3dmark just to see if it would work but still no joy.
Have searched countless forums on the net and for the life of me cannot find anyone else with this issue?
Am I the first?
