Probably going over old ground but have been wondering, to build an insulated cavity wall then dry line. The inside with insulated plasterboard either by direct fixings(kingspan say this should be fine),bonding or battened and slabbed. If it's supposed to be thousands of litres of water to dry out of a masonary house where does it go to?
Iternal insulation cant help much. Never mind the dew point due to temprature differences forming condensation and mould after a number of years if thats true. But is there a greater chance of the drying out masonary causing damp and mould behind the now common insulated plasterboard. Will in 10 yrs time people be pulling these boards off the walls and leaving us back where we began?
