    Hey folks,

Basically heres my story. i got a new acer extensa 5510 for christmas and recently bought a optical mouse for the laptop. it works perfectly although when i plug out the mouse it will no longer let me use the keypad(the laptop pointing device) i don't no what the problem seems to be. could anyone shine some light on the situation?

Will i have to re-install a driver perhaps?

also just another question if i move the screen when the laptop is running the backlight on the screen was sometimes flicker, ad now i have noticed it flickers sometimes when i first turn on the laptop! i am wondering is this normal for a laptop not even a month old??

    Thanks everyone!!

    Stephen

Trackpad : Try pressing Fn and F7 to see if the trackpad is locked, might be a solution.

Screen flicker : My work Acer has a similar issue at start up:(
