is seller liable for shipping costs?

    Hope this is the right forum.

    I bought a memory card off ebay.

    After a day the memory card was broken.

    Searched google found it was counterfeit.

    I brang up a dispute,The seller agrees the item was counterfeit,but is only offering the sale price of the memory,which is 10cent and the shipping was 10euro.

    NOTE: I am not sending the item back,I am talking about the shipping costs TO me.

    He should be liable for that all right. Escalate the dispute to a claim and see what happens.

    Report him to eBay for selling fake memory cards too.
