The Lower State team return for another once off party in Galway's De
Burgo's.This time they are promoting Ireland's premier underground
electronic producer, Donnacha Costello. Championing his unique
perspective on techno using the latest digital music technology,
creating a live set unrivalled by any other Irish producer.

Donnacha Costello has been releasing records since 1996 and his talent
has long been recognised by those in the know including Johnny Marr
(Ex-Smiths) and Richie Hawtin. The list of Djs who support his work reads
like a Who's Who of techno, many of whom have licensed his work for their
mix cds, most recently including Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Magda,
Tiefschwarz, James Zabiela, Loco Dice and Josh Wink. As a live performer,
and now as a DJ, Costello regularly performs around the globe from Europe
to the U.S.A. to Japan and runs his renowned 'MINIMISE' record label from
his home town of Dublin. His epic Colors series, ten records recorded live
on analog gear in 2004 without a computer, is a milestone in the history of
techno, and appeared in end of year top-10 lists in many publications
including The Wire and The New York Times.

Doors on the night are at 10pm and support is from Lower State
resident RoryD (Techtonic/Flirt FM). Price 12 Euro.
