Twisting my Neck While Sleeping

Ok not sure if this is the right forum for this but twice in the past month I have come home (quite drunk if I'm honest) and gone to bed. In the morning I wake up in pain because I appear to have twisted my neck in my sleep.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to stop myself twisting or jerking my neck during the night?

A neck brace might help, though their not very comfortable.
Or maybe buy yourself some new pillows

A few months ago I had compressed discs in my back and neck

I have to use a travel pillow that you use in a car/on a plane to brace my neck

It's worked out well, does take a while to get used to!!
