Boards is generally deemed to have a fairly young average age.
    Perhaps this average is rising??

    Anyway I am 46 (and a half).
Who else is in this age region ? Any 50+ or 60+ or more??
    How old can we find?

(excuse if this is the wrong forum - senility beckons).

    Old Fart, pfft.

    I'm a sprightly 28 years young.

Remember Brother dewsbury, you're only as old as the girl you're feeling (which in my case is a bit crap, as she's 32 )

Thanks patrickc. I thought it must have arisen before.

However, I read some of the previous messages and could not find anybody over 46 ??

Would getting to 51 not involve some "careful" living like engaging in fitness or "eating right" or worst of all "moderate drinking" ??

If not, then I salute brother Hagars "live fast, annoy the young" attitude to life !!!

I myself am 32 and have only seen the light of turning my back on sports in the past few years but my gut is coming along nicely and i'm already working on an extra chin (perhaps one day I will reach Gerry Ryans level of multiple chin-ness).

I turn 38 in March and am suddenly seeing why slippers make sense.

    Hallelujah!

Getting to 51 is apparantely easily, it's staying there for a few years takes the work :)

I'm still in my 30s (can't say that for much longer , so I'm making the most of it)

    39 and 11/12s to be precise :D:cool::D

It's easy enough, you just get up every day. Hangover or no hangover.
I used to wonder what it would be like to be forty, now I can't remember.

Time to hang up the boots at the end of the season Brother trout....and start coaching the clubs womens team :D:D

I've spent the past 3 years repaying the money the rugby club invested in me (bandages and sponges mainly) by contributing to the bar while the younger fools are running around the pitch !

Being 25 on the inside when I'm in my mid 40s is one of my biggest fears. Will being 25 on the inside mean that I'll still be irresponsible and self-righteous with a monsterous sex drive??

Come to think of it, I'm more like a 17 year old trapped in a 25 year old's body

Which means that when I'm 44 and a 25 year old trapped in a 44 year old's body, I will in fact be a 17 year old trapped in a 25 year old's body who's trapped in a 44 year old's body. I'll be like one of those russian dolls

24 already is a quarter of a century old, you start at 1 after you've been here for a year already.
