Is there no tournies in Cork over the next few months? I'm well overdue a visit back home, wanted to get some rare live poker in while I was there but according to thehendonmob and pokerpages there is no tournament scheduled as yet for Cork in 2008

Can someone plz let me know if there is one due but just not listed yet.

the macau run two main festivals a year summer and winter, last years summer festival ME was €1500 with 126 runners and ran in may. I'd imagine similar again this year but dates but wouldnt be finalised yet

biggest weekly tournament is 100 freezout and there's a monthly 200 euro freezout aswell. biggest weekly games you'll find are probably 2/5 plo and 1/2 nlhe but the games get bigger at festival time.

there's a good omaha game running pretty regularly in the bank casino afaik.

    Alright mate,

Graham here from the Bank Casino in Cork. I'll be introducing a new schedule at the start of february with a few weeks of promotions. At the moment I can offer you this:

Second thursday of everymonth we have a €150+€15 freezeout.

Every Friday we hold a €75+€10+€5 scalp tourney

I will also be scheduling a €500 freezeout in March between all the mad tourneys all over the country

Our cash games are flying and available every night. Just came off a very good €2/€5 plo game tonight.

Any questions at all you can grab me in the casino most nights. The number is 021-4222447. On the slim chance you catch me on a night off just leave a number and I will get back to you straight away. You can also PM on this.

    Hope to see you soon

    Thanks
    sincerely
    Graham

I won't be around then Ken. Not sure what date I'm going over for a visit yet, sometime over the next 2 or 3 months though anyway. I'll try to get to the Macau when I do though.

    Anyway cheers.

I'll try my best to get to both establishments when I'm back in the people's republic. ;)
