install problems

    Hi , I'm building a new PC for my friend and run in to a problem-when installing WInd xp , at the last stage (I thing its "hardware registration or something") I'm getting a blue screen:

    I tried to boot with one , two sticks , then to change them places ,different channels and so on...no luck...Now I disabeled one of the HDD and installing OS on another one..
    Any sagest ions ???? Please ,its killing me:(
    Specs :
    S 775-6550
    Abit ip-35
    Adata 2X1 gb ram
    WD raptor 36 gb
    Seagare 200 gb
    Ozc 500 w psu

    try a different sata port and try a different sata cable.
    make sure you are using the correct driver for the sata controller on the board.you may need to specify,F6.

    Yep , it helped , I plugged it to another port and used a new cable....
