Recording Chorus

Hi,

I want to record a number of programs off my Chorus digital (Location: Cork, Decorder Sagam box "older model - large black casing") while I am away. Just wondering what my options are.

First, is there any way to have multiple channel coming from the Sagam box? That way I could tune each channel separately on my DVD recorder.

Second, if that fail I would like to use the delay programming feature on the box. This switch channels during predefine times. On my machine there seem to be a problem with this. While it will change channels for the first program it stick on second channel (channel lock is never released). Has anybody else come accross this problem. Does anybody know if there is a fix for it?

Third, If all that fails the third possiblity is to get the new PVR from Chorus. Does anybody know if this is available in Cork yet for the MMDS system? How long does it normal take Chorus (UPS) to set up the new box from ordering time?

Any info would be appreciated.

Ok. Just a follow up my options are deminishing by the minute.

From reading this form there seems to be no way of getting individual channels out of the decoder. :mad: so that option is out

Also contacted Chorus sales. Their DVR isn't available yet for the MMDS customers in Cork.

Funny, I rang sales they answered the phone immediately. I ask them to transfer me to "customer care" and I hung up after 15mins waiting for an answer. Priorities.

Running out of ideas. Might just have to get a second connection or get somebody else to record the programs in question

Just wondering if the Chorus DVR is available to Customers in Limerick city yet? Seems good value. Also can recorded programs be transferred to DVD?

Stwome01, can you please tell me how to actually stop the recording from happening on the chorus box. I started to record something and now want to stop. I have no clue how to actually stop it.
