Apologies mods if this is in the wrong forum.

The band are looking to record a demo soon and we're trying to find a suitable stidio, looking to record for maybe two or three days, we have a budget of around €1,000 and our music would be bordering on metal. Any suggestions based on personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Joe Egan has a great residential studio in Clara , Co.Offaly . A grand will get you a couple of days.

Protools, Neve, Neumann, Brauner,Apogee, PMC monitors, Genelec, SSl etc. all the posh stuff.... I sold it to him!

Joe's a great rock guitar player so he'd be well in tune musically.

I wouldn't be much of a business man if I didn't plug my own studio. Have a listen to the samples and if you like what you hear then give me a shout.

BTW, 900EUR will get you 3 days

Can't make it, sorry Paul. I'll be lying on a beach in Mexico with a sombrero on my head trying my best to free the worm from it's tequila prison.

I'll have to get in to you one of these days to try out the X-logic, I've wanted one of the x-racks from the moment they brought it out. BTW, is there any plans for an AD card add-on in the future???

Read the charter guys. The rules are there to help the place grow into a community of like minded folk sharing info and views, it's not a commercial oppurtunity. We have a thread for people to pimp their services. If you are an active member of the board your more than welcome to let people know to look on that thread to find you and what you offer alongside all the other services there.

    I'm sure y'all understand, let's keep it country ;)

I agree StudioRat's Facility is a Joke Shop. I should know as I sold him his Audio Jokes....

Studio Rat also isn't a successful Engineer, not having worked with Bob Dylan, Bryan Adams, Aslan and Gavin Glass.

He also has a bad attitude and smells a bit funny.... I should also mention he scabs fags and rarely gets his round in.

I was going to recomend "Fastlane Studio's" but I scrolled down and saw he got there himself ,.... all the professionalism without the rip off prices.. really recommend it , very relaxing, especially good for first timers!!
