    Hi all

Long time no post. Im now based in Brsibane after a few weeks travelling, I start work here next week and am relocating for a year or so.

Any one out there know of good places to watch the 6N matches over here, othere than just the Irish bars etc?

With time diff of 12 hours many bars will be closed so It seems a bit of a problem, any advice on this would be appreciated. Perhaps I may need my own Stetanta or similar Foxtel etc connection to watch at home???

I intend to make the Reds my home team so as I can see world class Super 14 week in week out in the local Sun Crop Stadium. Its gonna be special to see some of these guys after all the years watching the Europen guys, I cant wait.

    All advice and pointers welcomed.
    Cheers
    DM

Youll find it hard to get a pub open for the 6N games bar thw irish pubs, I remember being stuck in The Irish club for 1 of the games there last year. If you want a good spot for the rugby league games, check out the The Storey hotel just beside the bridge. also any of the pubs in around town (port office, vic etc) ones in the valley dont show them as much

    cheers Miley!

So do the irish bars stay open late enough to show the mathces?

I also figured the Irish club may be exempt from normal laws and may be an option. Ill start checking around.

Strange that Brizzy is historically known as Union Heartland, so I hear, with Sydney and they came a majestic 14th in S14 just gone .

Reds were terrible last season. Western force were the only half decent team from oz but didnt make the semis. Its still worth checking out some of games aginst the NZ teams.
League is much bigger in Brizzy than union. I was there when they won ARL and it was huge.
The irish club is a bit of a kip but they stay open for the late games. Depending on the time though they may stop serving.
All the irish pubs will show the replay next day so you shouldnt miss much
Enjoy Brizzy, in my experience, the best city in oz once you get settled in

Found a tag team to play with, friendly bunch. Mostly English though, 2 Canadians and a few Ozzies.

At least knowing a good gang of Eng Rugby fans should keep the 6N interesting.

4 try debut, quite chuffed. :)
