    Hi,

I'm interested in getting a second hand bmw 318 ('99-'04).

Do many of them come specced with a split-rear folding seat?
How else will I get next years Christmas tree in it!?

Also has anyone driven both coupe and saloon models and what do they think the obvious differences are?
Is there a big difference in leg room for rear passengers?

Any info at all would be most helpful.

    Cheers

I doubt it. BMWs might be many things, but they are not the most practical car in the world!

Afaik, on the E46 saloons, folding rear seats was an option so many cars don't have it. However it was standard on the coupe.

Plenty of leg room in the rear. If you can have two doors only, get the coupe.
