Green Joker Poker are proud to announce the addition of Rob Taylor to the Green Joker Poker Team. Rob will be playing all the GUKPT events under a sponsorship deal with Green Joker Poker.

Everybody knows Rob is a great tournament player, he has finished second in the Irish Rankings for 2007 (final standings will be on site soon once we have added some late results - Jay has won BTW!) and has cashes in major tournaments all over the world. It is only a matter of time before he takes down a big one.

Rob has always shown a great commitment to Green Joker Poker (as have many of you on boards.ie and we appreciate it greatly). He is always wearing his GJP hoodie at events whether qualifed on our site or not and spreading the word about our events. This combined with his excellent tournament record adds up to a great proposition for both Rob and GJP and allows us to show some loyalty back.

The first event under the new deal is the GUKPT in Brighton, Rob will be playing Day 1b on Friday.

We hope you join us in wishing Rob the best this year, it should be a good one. If Rob has a good year then there maybe a tank for us to add someone else to the team!

I think you could do with a more fearsome nickname than "norwich fan" though, not gonna scare many on the GUKPT!! Something like "Relentless Rob" :cool:

Yeah I agree on the need for a more imposing nickname, not sure about relentless rob mind

hopefully , with 10 legs to concentrate on, i can get at least 1 major result.
looking forward to the first leg in brighton on friday now.

i got up to a peak of 28k in level 5, only to go out 10 mins b4 the end of level 8, with about 47 players left on day 1B

about 70 overall through to day 2, chip leader is a young lad with a "lot of game" that took me out.
