Can a losing side pick up two bonus points, if they were to score four tries, lose, but lose within seven points?

I've been googling for a while now and can't find anything..

As far as i know you can, Bourgoin picked up two bonus points losing to ulster at the weekend.
They lost by just a point and scored 4 tries

2 losing bonus points was something of a speciality for Leinster until this season (whereas now they prefer going down the route of getting none).

TBH I don't see it being a high-scoring game so I wouldnt worry about it.

In the HEC and the ML a team can score a losing BP and a Try BP should they score 4 tries or more but lose the game by 7 points or less. However in the Top 14 (French Championship) only the winning team can get a Try BP - they have to score a minimum of 4 tries but must also lead the opposition by 3 tries.

No need for permutations Munster win and go through. I've seen it :p
But as the other lads said yes 2 points for a loosing team who score 4 tries and are within 7 points of the winning team.
