Extraction whilst in agony

I was due to have an upper back tooth removed a year ago, but chickened out due to fear and the fact it had stopped hurting :( According to charts it is my 2nd Bicuspid, I have no wisdom teeth.

It has now been a good few weeks that the pain has been unbelievable, I had a course of antibiotics three weeks ago and the pain has not gone -I am due to have it removed tomorrow -can this be done while I am still suicidal from the pain?? Or will I have to have yet more antibiotics?

I am mentally and physically wrecked from the constant unrelenting pain - prescription painkillers/nurofen+/solpadeine and alcohol just take the edge off for a few hours. I haven't had an unbroken nights sleep for over a month, I just want the tooth gone

I feared the dentist up until last week.
She rubbed this jelly stuff on my gums so the injection could not be felt. I actually asked her was it in yet and she said its out and done. No pain whats so ever.

Then 10 minutes later my mouth was num from the injection and then she pulled out the teeth, truth be told I felt apsolutly nothing! Just go for and report back here;)

Well the sodding tooth is out -my first extraction too. I am quite depressed about it, but hopefully no more pain, and the gap can't be seen. My stomach is in bits tonight, from all the tablets I have ingested. I worked myself up into a complete state, needlessly I might add. One yank and the tooth was out, thank god.
