The Hottie and the Nottie

Nate Cooper (Joel David Moore) has been smitten with Cristabel Abbott (Paris Hilton) since he first laid eyes on her at the impressionable age of six. But before he could try and snuggle up to her at nap time, or maybe send her a valentine, his family moved away. In the intervening years there have been other women in Nate’s life, but none who could measure up to Cristabel. Convinced she’s the only girl for him, Nate decides to move back to L.A. and track her down. The good news: she’s still single and stunning. The bad news: there’s a reason she’s still single. Cristabel’s still best friends with the same ugly little girl Nate remembers from first grade, JUNE PHIGG (Christine Lakin). The two are inseparable. They live together. They go to yoga together. They would even go on double dates together…if only June could get a date. And Cristabel simply refuses to leave dear June home alone. Determined to spend as much time as possible with Cristabel, Nate sets out to find a boyfriend for June. But even when he pays them, guys all flee at the sight of her. And then it hits him: June needs a makeover. But as Nate and June become friends and she emerges from her cocoon, Nate slowly realizes that the girl of his dreams isn’t the hottie at all. It’s the nottie — who turns out to be something of a hottie herself.

Its a stupid gross out comedy in the same lines of American Pie, shallow hal and Road Trip etc. But even by those lowly standards this film has dropped all idea of a superficial plot and have just gone for the basic structure and tied a few gags on.

It might be refreshing to not have to wade through unnecesary set up or justification


Or it could be just laziness.

But can it be as bad as the upcoming Meet the Spartans. Even Kevin Sorbo looks embarassed to be in it.

I'll go see this film for 2 reasons:

1 - It has Spartans
2 - It has Kevin ****ing Sorbo!

No doubt it will be terrible, i sniggered at one part in the trailer with Britney Spears however... i feel dirty.

One of those films where the synopsis is probably funnier than the film.
Mainly because it takes less than thirty seconds to read and costs nothing.

The funny thing is, if you look at the photos of the "ugly" one you'll see she's an absolute stunner and shows up Hilton as the dog she is.

Hence the ending, she gets a makeover and is suddenly hot.
Havent seen the movie but I'll eat my hat if that doesnt happen in the end.

lol, I saw Paris Hilton was associated with the thread and didn't bother reading anything else about the film. It must really piss her off to end up being the notty. Then again, she may not get the ending. It might be a bit too deep for her.
