Its a very dull matt thats resistant to knocks/chipping etc. I think airsofters/real steel like it because its hard wearing and easy to use.

its called ultra matt or supermatt paint. it has a slight textured finish to it aswell sometimes.

i still say its just paint and used correctly you can achieve that finish with most quality paints., just sthat some people dont trust the unknown and prefer to go with what others reccomend., look at defenderdudes mp5 and M4 for instance, havent seen a job as good as that anywhere else on the net and its not krylon,,.

Ya, but the Krylon is easier to apply. You just get a can of the camo pattern you want, spray it on, and as it dries the paint molecules re-arrange themselves into the pattern on the tin. Very clever altogether.

you can get something like that in garden shops and B&Q., they use it for plant pots i think,. some have stone pattern or sand etc, they even feel really rough.,

theres one avail that plasticote make that I wanna try where you give a base of gold and go over it with this grey paint stuff that when dry, it cracks as if it was concrete that cracked. cool effect.
You could use any color as the base but gold/red/yellow/or fluro colors stand out better.

Krylon is just the brand. its just matt paint.
