DVDR3575H - Slow start up

    Hi,

    I recently bought one of these payers, it seems to work fine except that the initial startup is very slow - upwards of one minute to get to the first screen.
    Also sometimes when you switch from hard drive to view a DVD or vice-versa it takes ages to recognise the disc.
    Has anyone had similar issues and are they normal, or is my player a dud?

    It is a recorder, not a player. They usually take longer to load discs. Unless it is not recognising discs that play properly in other decks it is probably not faulty.

    The slow start-up may be because you have a power-save mode switched on.
