Fergal White is a Toolmaker/Injection mouldmaker,he has over 20yrs experience in this highly skilled trade,he has always had an interest in rifles and the workings of rifles.Over the past 5 or so yrs he has been tooing and froing over and back to the Uk learning the tricks of the riflesmithing fraternity.Fergal is only days away from opening his own riflesmithing outfit in Athlone and will be building rifles for all types of rifle sports, target, varmint,Varmint etc.He also will be doing the usual gunsmith services such as,blueprinting, glass bedding, pillar bedding, bolt sleeving, moderator fitting(treading),
muzzle brake fitting, recrowning, rebarrelling and of course custom rifles. He also plans by the end of the yr to make his own custom actions in house he said he would be relying on the international market on this one.I went to meet the chap so I could post this on Boards for all to read.Something for us all to look forward to so.Watch the Irish Shooters Digest for more updates on Fergal as he will be advertising on that.

Eamon Galvin in Ballybofey is the best guy around to reblue any gun and he's a lifetime of experience. He did my shotgun and restored the stock and it looked better than new. You would think the gun was brand new also he's a excellent gun smith. He makes stocks for guns too. He was a carpender by trade and all his work is done by hand tools. My barrels was rusted and bluing was nearly completely gone. It now looks like a new gun. He's also very cheap. To reblue the barrels is about 100euro, It takes alot of time to do it right. I wouldn't trust them home kits. He's some sort of a boiler for putting it into
