I crashed my mac

    I crashed my mac. :(

    I was trying to play diablo 2 on it. (on lepoard) and it died :(

    had to take out the battery to restart it as it wouldnt oey commands or power button

    Did you try holding the power button down for 15 seconds?

    i disagree, the mac help option is great (although it wouldnt have obviously been accesible in this scenario!) Also the support section on the apple site are great too.

    Im a big moan when it comes to clear instructions but ive always been impressed at mac documentation and support.

    In comparison with MS products, it was certainly an issue with XP and prior windows that the IT guys would put stuff into the software and forget to tell the Manual people!

    The best example i remember is to do with MS Powerpoint. Pressing B during a presentation turns the screen black and pressing W turns it white. That useful feature wasnt mentioned in the manuals! Although it probably is now.
