my roots on tv tonight

ok its not a photographic program, but what inspired me to take up a camera and play music (badly -- but it didn't matter), was the New York scene around the Bowery of the mid seventies , it produced so much good music , the Ramones , Television, Patti Smith , and some wonderfull photographers Robert Mapplethorpe , Smith herslf ... i went over in the early eighties , and mucked about in a ska band on the side ... anyway its on bbc 2 at 11:30 tonight .. should be worth a look

P.S. has there been a better album cover than the Ramones first , for me its up there !

another great , just goes to show , a great image is alway a great image , the out of focus adds to it !
