I noticed something earlier, is it just me or does anyone else see a striking resemblance between this:

    this:
    rifle.jpg
    and this:

I wonder with a few small mods...

Someone already made a battle rifle aeg not sure about assault rifle

They tried but it turned out hideously.

The FN2000 though is sexy and G&G are making one this year so I don't have to get the questionable JLS version

The battle rifle (first one) looks more like an aerodynamic FAMAS now that I look at it again

Spartans from Halo. Considering I know where to get a full Spartan armour kit, getting a rifle that looks like the battle rifle (first pic - halo 2/3) or the assault rifle (second pic - halo 1/3) would make me far more likely to get it for giggles and go for skirmish in it

Take it from someone who has both the JLS SCAR which I think is rotten and the JLS FN F2000, the F2000 is a whole different breed of AEG and far from questionable. The body is better built then the SCAR, the gearbox is better (Has metal bushings) it has a tightbore barrel, the hop-up is good and the whole barrel assembly can be removed in 5 seconds by simply pushing out a pin and sliding the entire upper receiver forward. The rails are also the correct thickness unlike the SCAR.

JLS have improved their game with the FN F2000.

Really? I heard funny things about them. I rather like them (I'd love them if they had all the official attachments made). The RS version has an amazingly simple but effective way of disposing of brass away from the user, that's what got me liking them so much in the first place. If you recommend the JLS I might have a looksee into getting one, they seem awfully cheap

I think the BR is pretty much based on the Type 97

you really need to make molds yourself. So if you strip on similar aeg and fix molds on top of it. I know it is posibe to get 3d mesh for it.

I was looking for it before in airsoft version. I remeber came across one design studio in Canada made armor and replica, but it was very impractical in skirmish.

PS. I woudl love to have this rifle. It looks very practical. Espesialy if it will be made out of carbon fider with good balance.

Impractical yes, but imagine, just for kicks, being able to skirmish as the Master Chief. I'd die if I saw that running toward me with a pair of wavin pipes tied together to look like a rocket launcher and an FN2000 spraying. Die laughing that is

Steal mother's red curtains, dye Y-fronts brown, add sandles and a pointed stick, finish off with a dustbin lid and hey presto, I is Spartan

A few people in the states made their own armor, weapon etc. but if i saw master chief on the skirmish field id hose him. id say you would have very restricted movement in such armor.

i wouldnt say so, it looks like the joints can be made with fabric rather than hard pieces and if you made it from GRP then it would be pretty solid while being very light., would be very handy for the hits too, theres not way you wouldnt hear them.,lol

The original armour made for displays and shows was actually a vacuum mold abs plastic shell that attached with velcro and qd snaps to an ice hockey vest armour and pants armour. Given that I still have my ice hoceky gear from back in the day, the rest of the stuff wouldn't be hard to piece onto it.

Though, the pants might be a bit tighter now, I didn't appreciate italian food as much back then as I do now

There were 4 original suits. That was one of them. Two greens, a red and a blue (around the time Red Vs Blue became officially endorsed by Bungie)

$2000 for the suit wasn't even close. Add a zero to it. Believe it or not it was going for just shy of $22,000. It was the first of the Green ones to be made.

That's not the original, nor is it the one they used for the events planned around Halo 1 and Halo 2 launches.

I've heard of that company though, they do some good quality molds. Their helmet sculptor is very good. They do other classic types of armor suits from the computer games like Gears of War and FEAR.

    Their sky suits are excellent.

Here's the female version of the sky suit, guess what she's carrying too
    port_skygrl.jpg
The skysuits are supposed to have ACU worn underneath them too.
