Searched for a similar post, didn't find one. I booked flights before they changed the check-in prices(ie before online was free and airport not). Will I be charged for checking in at airport? Can they do that retrospectively? Isn't it at time of reservation that you will be charged? Thanks

You'll be fine, it'll be noted on your booking. They can't charge it retrospectively as far as I know, might be an idea to bring your confirmation email with you to prove when you booked it just in case.

No they wont charge you , my cousin was in the same situation as you over Xmas , she booked months ago to come home for xmas holidays , they didnt hit her with any extra charges at the check in desks at either Stanstead or Dublin .
