Following on from last week, another really great episode.

First off we see Todds trickery during the replictor battle. Stealing the ZPMs was a smart move. But am i right in thinking this wasnt the reason the power went out on McKay in the replicator control room? It was as he said, the infrastructure was damaged by the blob sinking into the ground.

Next we have the abandoned wraith ship inviting the team to check it out. I think they handled Tayla's pregnancy well. She was a little pissed off at Sheppard but by the end he turned out to be right. Sheppard was a little pissed she didn't tell him about it sooner. It was funny when he had to come back to get her for the mission and he told Zelenka that fixing the wraith ship was the easy part. :)

After they find out about the super secret wraith base, it's time to check it out. We see one queen making a handful of soldiers. We find out that the wraith and the empire have something in common. The secret to the Wraith's victory over the ancients; clones. Huge numbers of soldiers produced requiring the power from 3 ZPMs.

Tayla's powers have become stronger and this may be important in future episodes, she takes control of the queen putting her baby in danger which she later regrets. This allows Mckay, Sheppard and Ronin to escape.
The ending was perfect, the only way they could take out the wraith cloning base with the badly beaten up wraith ship was the way they did. It would have been good if they had the wraith ship for a while, learn more about it but another very good episode anyway. 8/10

wow, a fantastic episode i must say, i didn't get why the 2 earth ships didn't join the battle, but it was a great episode and explained allot more about the lantian/wraith war.
I knew the ship would ram and i was waiting for it. There is one thing i don't understand, whatever happened to steve? the wraith who was making the genetically modified wraith soldiers that looked like alien? Did he get killed did i miss that than again.... Season ending type spoiler type thing
. The last episode of this season is supposed to feature the return of an old friend, so either is Weir,Steve or Ford (was that his name the guy from season 1?)

I was wondering that too. I figured they'd gone back to Earth.

Yep, another good episode and more material for future storylines. We always knew the Wraith won out with superior numbers - now we know how they got them.

Flow of the story was good too - the way they took out the base, as rkm points out, fitted in with what they had. They didn't have to pull a rabbit out of the hat at the last minute.

Todd is an interesting character - the SGA version of Yu, in that it's an enemy who is more reasonable than the rest.

And having Tey-lo contribute again, in a strong way, is good for her character. It added a bit of dimension to see her almost risk her kid in her endeavours.

No follow up to the Weir plot line this week - I guess that's what the next two parter is for!

    More of this quality please.

Another good for me as well. It seems to have got over the hump and it has been pretty unforced for the last couple of episodes. The characters also seem to be so much more credible and have better lines.

Yeah I enjoyed it too, nice episode.

Now all they need is a sh*tty filler episode to undo all the good work.

It's Beckett they're referring too - look on Gateworld - they've got cool new pics!

Welcome to boards.ie Si'ana, and in particular welcome to the stargate forum. :)

MR E you're depressing me with your talk of fillers. At least let them air one first. :D

Like SG-1 this just keeps getting better with age.... except when you hit year 9 then it will turn to ****e.

Brilliant episode. Liked finding out how the wraith breed and how they won the war.

Er, Steve died in season 1's 'Poisoning the Well'

Which of the wraith are you referring to in the ep? Todd or the other male wraith? If it's the other male wraith then we don't know what happened to him. He could have gone boom with the facility
