JJ Burkes on Sean Mulvoy road do a version in a tub which you spread on by hand. The best is Evo-stik contact adhesive which you can get in most good hardware shops but it also comes in a tin for hand spreading. I used blag spray adhesive from a guy who re-covered pool tables for use in covering car interiors with fabric but it wouldn't be strong enough to hold carpet...

Cheers Inter. I might go for the stuff in a tin and aply it with a paint brush. The stuff itself doesn't need to be too strong as the carpethalf supports itself anyhow. Will call up to that place next chance I get
