I'm trying to remember the name of this game that was out in the arcades around the early 90s.

You played as an 'Indiana Jones' type of character and had a whip. One level that stands out in my head had you jumping from the wings of biplanes in mid air, and you could use the whip to swing from the wings I think. Really great game, it's doing my head in trying to remember the name

It might be Growl, but I actually think it's something else, I just can't think of the name. I'm certain I've seen a screenshot of the biplane bit somewhere.

It's Edward Randy by Data East.

It was a quality game. Graphics were very good at the time. Huuuuge sprites. Nice and easy to play as well. Gave you a good 20 minutes for a credit when you had a bit of practice.

I've never heard of this game! What hardware did it run on?

Some sort of Data East custom hardware?

Always liked the look of DE games during that period. Robocop 2 was another favourite of mine.

Data east had a good run in the late 80's early 90's. Caveman Ninja, Midnight Resistance, Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja and the first Robocop just to name a few.

There was a seris of games with Roland as the main character. Hope this is the correct one.....
