My mum is turning 60 this year and we are going to get her and a friend a trip to Nashville as a surprise for September
Would a touring holiday (on a bus), where everything is already organised be best? She is a young 60, so I dont want to book her a holiday where she will be stuck on a bus with boring people.
Any ideas on the best place to start looking at hols to Nashville? It would be great to get some idea's.

    Thanks:)

How long is she going over for?

Nashville isn't a huge town so I can't see why she'd need a bus to get anywhere.

There's a commuter rail to take you to Music city and every country & western bar you'd ever need for the rest of your life are located in town :)

Do you mean to go to places around Nashville ?

    Hi,

Ya, i was thinking of a tour holiday where they orgainise activities etc around Nashville and also some of them bring you to Memphis and on boat trips.

I was thinking she would be safer on an organised trip and she would probably get to see more. She will be going over there for 10 days to 2 weeks at begining of Sept, (i heard that that is a good time to go there)

I have googled to try and find some of these organised holidays but just cant find many of them and dont know which ones would be best anyway.

    Thanks

this to me sounds excellent, not sure if they do one in september but new orleans, atlanta and nashville and memphis - sounds right up her street
