    If i remember back when dinosaurs ruled the earth and I was in TCD, you could use an smbclient on the netsoc machine remotely to access the put folders. You could transfer files in and out to the outside world that way.

    yeah you can connect to the get and put folders through one of the netsoc machines just run

    smbclient //ntserver-usr/put -U issusername
